Eastern Sierra Farm Fresh (ESFF) is addressing food insecurity—impacting up to 19% of local residents—by improving access to fresh, healthy food across our region. Through initiatives like gleaning, farm-to-table markets, and community partnerships, ESFF has diverted over 15,000 lbs of produce from waste to nourishment in the form of 30,000-35,000 meals supplemented with fresh produce, served nearly 3,000 community members through local markets, and supported thousands of meals through IMACA, Bishop Senior Center, UMC Soup Kitchen, and Bishop Tribal Elder’s Center. Together, we’re building a more sustainable, equitable, and resilient food system in the Eastern Sierra.
